Grass Ceiling is a project funded by the European Union in which female innovators are working together on innovations for rural areas and the agricultural sector. In the Netherlands Grass Ceiling is a project started by Wageningen University and LTO, and I am one of the eight women innovators participating in the project.
Last september I was a guest at the first international Grass Ceiling Event in Brussel. Besides from working together for several days a year over the next three years at home in the Netherlands, the Grass Ceiling project also provides access to an international stage and network. When the opportunity presented itself to go to Brussel’s I therefore was keen to go. I was able to present the Landdrift concept and its possibilities for making a positive impact on the Dutch landscape to a group of professionals and innovators from 9 European countries. It turned out to be a great day with new insights and some valuable connections to follow-up on.
